| Job Description: |
Primarily responsible for performing business process analyses, needs assessment, and preliminary cost, benefits analyses to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. Also responsible for the following activities consult with upper management regarding desirability and practicability of products and services for current and potential clients. Consult with clients to identify current operating procedures, computer system capabilities, and limitations. Confer with client on business process needs, systems design, software selection, specifications, and proposals to determine feasibility of product solutions and application. | Job Description: |
Coordinate changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database & datawarehousing management systems. Responsible for performing database and PeopleSoft Oracle environment refreshing/cloning, troubleshooting, and tuning all PeopleSoft infrastructure components, including database servers, application servers, batch servers, and web servers. Responsible for Peoplesoft Application Administration and Application server/process scheduler configurations, webserver configurations and Peoplesoft tool installations. Plan, coordinate design and implement Peoplesoft Applications Security and Oracle Security. Optimization and tuning of data to get the best outputs from the database. Develop methods for integrating different PeopleSoft and Oracle products so they work properly together, such as customizing commercial databases to fit specific needs. |
| Education: |
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering including Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Physics, Math or related field plus five (5) years of progressive experience as a database administrator in Peoplesoft or Oracle. | Senior Business Systems Analyst |
| Job Description: |
Primarily responsible for conducting a complete “as-is” study of the end users existing financial and/or accounting operations and systems to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems and ascertain specific business system requirements. Also responsible in conducting a “gap analysis” to determine the differences between the existing system and the newly configured SAP system. Will be responsible in designing a blue print of the client’s existing system focusing on business user needs, financial and/or accounting program functions and required steps to modify the existing system. Will be responsible in the reviews of the applicable system’s capabilities and limitations, including developing an SAP system using flowcharts and diagrams detailing the operations to be performed and the equipment and business software systems to be utilized according to the aforementioned blueprinting and systems review process. Also responsible in testing procedures for individually designed financial and/or accounting modules, the Business Systems Analyst conducts additional testing after systems integration and resolving any adverse integration issues after implementation. By converting project specifications, using financial flowcharts and diagrams into a sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps required for the development of complex business systems, the Business Systems Analyst conducts end user training and prepare technical reports and user manuals to document the new business system. Will be conducting integration efforts with any other third party system software, and customizing and converting system reports to confirm with developed SAP financial system, the Business Systems Analyst conducts systematic upgrades to system and correct errors to maintain system integrity, finally, design computer terminal screen displays to accomplish business user requests. |
